LAHORE   -   The employees of local government depart­ment staged a protest outside the civil secre­tariat Lahore, Punjab in favour of their de­mands here on Thurs­day. Among the major demands of the protest participants was the immediate release of disparity allowance and the implementation of the announcement of 15pc increase in sala­ries, besides regularisa­tion of all the contract employees of local gov­ernment across Punjab. The participants of the protest raised slogans and carried placards on which their demands were written.
