SWABI - National Information Technology Board (NITB), Director General (Project Management Office) Faisal Iqbal, and Faqir Ullah, Project Director (Smart Office), National IT Board in a meeting with Rector, Ghulam Ishaq Khan (GIK) Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology on Thursday said that there is dire need to reduce the gap in the linkages between industry and academia to strengthen our feeble economy and have a prosperous future.
The meeting was attended by Sardar Aminullah, Pro-Rector (Admin & Finance), Prof Dr Wasim, Pro-Rector (Academic), Dr Ahmar Rashid, Dean Faculty of Computer Science and Technology, and Dr Ghulam Abbas, Director (IT).
They discussed various options under which the National Information Technology Board and GIK Institute could enter into result-oriented collaboration. Both organisations agreed to work together under a public-private partnership.
