Govt created maximum employment for youth: Leghari

KARACHI   -  Deputy Speaker Sindh Assembly Rehana Leghari said on Friday that Sindh government was the only government which created maximum employment opportunities every year to accommodate educated and professional youth in different fields, including government, and consider youth the backbone of the country and the guarantor of our future.

She expressed these views in her office during a meeting with Shakir Hussain Deswali, a young teacher of Cambridge System from Hyderabad and founder of a locally supported social campaign “Free Education for All”. During the discussion, Deswali gave a detailed briefing about the social work like distribution of rashan bags, cooked-food etc carried out during the COVID-19 lockdown by his companions and recently established “Deswali Library and Computer Centre” at Kacha Qala area of Hyderabad, under the umbrella of “Free Education of All” campaign. He informed that initially, the target was to teach various short courses of computer programmes to more than 100 children in the area in this library and computer centre, but this number will surely be increased with the time. In addition, free education for all projects is provided to the children of low-income and low-wage workers residing in the area, in which not only educational materials such as books, copies, stationary etc but also prizes are distributed to support and encourage the students. 

 Leghari, while commending the work of Deswali, said that she would soon visit the Library and Computer Centre to support the motive of youngsters.
