PML(N) Information Secretary Ahsan Iqbal has said that verbal and written agreements have no importance in the politics of People Party's Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari. He expressed his party's disappointment over remarks of Asif Zardari, saying if agreements, deals have no significance in politics then we will have to think on the politics of Muhammad Ali Jinnah also. Talking to the media, the secretary information said PML-N had not sought any position for any of its candidate but demanded of judges' re-instatement and scrapping of 17th amendments. "PML-N would devise its new strategy on the emerging situation in next CWC meeting," he said and added that decision on presidential candidate has not been taken yet. Nawaz Sharif had conveyed to PPP of his support for presidential candidate if judges were restored and 17th amendments were scrapped, Iqbal said.
