TWO 10-year-old local boys were trawling through hard rubbish in a Melbourne street when they discovered a tin containing thousands of dollars. Police said they were impressed by the boys' honesty after the pair took the money home to their parents, who immediately drove them to a police station to hand it in. Officers are door-knocking the area for information leading to the money's owner. They would like to hear from anyone who may be able to help with their inquiries. Police said the owners would need to know the exact amount of cash contained in the tin and would need to be able to describe the distinctive tin in order to claim the money.            - LIVE NEWS
