CHAKWAL - As many as five passengers including a women and a minor child were killed in a road accident when a speedy wagon collided with a trawler near village Danda Shah Bilawal at Chakwal Mianwali road on Sunday.
The ill-fated wagon (LES 3168) was heading to Chakwal from Mianwali. However, it collided a speedy trawler. Five persons died on the spot while many other got injuries.
On getting information, the Rescue 1122 rushed to the spot and recovered the dead bodies and the wounded passengers after cutting parts of the wagon.
The injured and the dead were shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Talagang. The driver of the trailer managed to flee from the scene.
