ISLAMABAD - The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has completed its corruption investigations against former Chief Minister KPK Amir Haider Hoti, former advisor to PM Asma Arbab Alamgir and former Balochistan CM Aslam Raessani.
According to investigation report, the allegations of corruption against Amir Haider Hoti including illegal assets, luxury bungalow in sector F-8 of Islamabad, transport company in UAE, jewelry and costly residential flat worth millions of rupees have proved.
The NAB has also completed its investigation report about illegal assets of Asma Arbab Jehangir worth billions of rupees.
It was worth-mentioning here that Asma Arbab Jehangir was advisor of former PM Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani and supervised the affairs of National Highway Authority (NHA), when her husband Arbab Jehangir was communication minister.
The NAB has also completed its investigation against the former CM Balochistan Nawab Aslam Raessani against illegal assets and recruitment of Naib Tehsildars in the province.
The complete investigation reports have been sent to the NAB headquarter. Further proceeding would be conducted in the light of decision of the NAB’s executive board. NAB has also achieved undetectable proof against these persons.
Interior secy refuses to issue forensic Lab NOC to NAB: The Secretary Interior has refused to issue NOC to National Accountability Bureau for constructing a forensic laboratory at the Federal Capital.
With the decline of permission for constructing forensic laboratory proceeding of pending corruption cases has been stopped. According to reliable sources with Online, secretary interior has declined to give reply to NAB, after being summoned in the plot corruption case.
Secretary Interior has obtained a plot in Police foundation in the Shudaa quota scheme. Secretary interior had sold the plot for Rs. 300 million, after hiding the original price in the registry. Upon which, the NAB has started an investigation and secretary interior was summoned for the reply in the hearing.
