Tayyab defeat exposes PSF claims

ISLAMABAD - Pakistani top players facing it really hard to win even the $5000 PSA events, as Tayyab Aslam lost in the City of Greater Bendigo $5000 Squash Championship semifinals against third seed local lad Joshua Larkin 3-2. Tayyab, who was favourite to win this title, started the first game on a high and kept Joshua on the run but he committed some unforced errors which cost first game 9-11. Tayyab started the second game on a aggressive note and won it 11-7. He continued with the same momentum in the third game and could have wrapped it up, but at crucial stage, he committed childish mistakes and lost the game 10-12. Tayyab started the fourth game sensibly and won it 11-9. In the fifth and deciding game, Tayyab failed to live up to the occasion, made a number of silly mistakes and lost the game 8-11.
