100 Ramazan packages distributed among needy

NOWSHERA VIRKAN - Assistant Commissioner Ali Akbar Bhindar, MPA Ch Khalid Pervaiz Virk, PML -N Coordinator Humayun Akbar  distributed 100 packs of Ramazan Package among the deserving people of the city.
Addressing the ceremony, AC Ali Akbar Bhindar said that according to the vision of Punjab Chief Minister, all possible efforts to facilitate the lower class of would be made to provide maximum relief to the downtrodden masses during the holy month of Ramazan.
On the occasion, MPA Ch Khalid Pervaiz Virk said that provision of relief to the citizens during the month of Ramazan became even more significant, therefore effective steps should be taken to control profiteering and hoarding etc.
He directed the Labour Department to ensure that proper weights and measures are used in the market. He called upon Ulema, members of civil society and government officers to perform their duties as an act of religious devotion.
Power outage continue during Sehr, Iftar:- Power outages continued during Sehr and Iftar in the city despite claims made by the Gepco. The worst shape of power outages are continues in holy month of Ramazan.
The people suffered from loadshedding in Sehr and Iftar times and power supply remained off during prayers timings.
Before the start of the Ramazan, the government had directed Gepco to ensure smooth supply of electricity during Sehr and Iftar in the city.
People are facing a lot of difficulties during Namaz-e-Teraveh, Sehr and Iftar timing.
Religious scholars and political circle demanded the authorities concerned to take necessary steps and resolve the problem immediately.
