Murad Ali Shah likely to replace Qaim as Sindh CM

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has decided to replace Sindh Chief Minister Qail Ali Shah, Waqt News reported. The Provincial Finance Minster Murad Ali Shah is likely to take the office.

According to the PPP spokesperson Senator Farhatullah Babar, the decision was taken in meeting which was held in Dubai today. The meeting was headed by former President Asif Ali Zardari and PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

According to reports, the step is being taken to counter the continuous criticism on the PPP government of bad governance in Sindh. “It is likely that new CM Murad Ali Shah will discuss the issue of Ranger Power extension in Sindh with the federation,” sources further added.

The Qaim Ali Shah led government has been under severe criticism from the civil society and people of Karachi with regard to law and order situation in the metro city.
