Buzdar oversees cleanliness op sans protocol

Lahore   -   Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar visited various parts of Lahore on the second day of Eid sans protocol to review cleanliness in the city.

He spoke with the sanitary workers and commended their role in the city’s cleanliness. “The zero-waste operation should be ensured and solid waste should be removed at the earliest,” he said. “The administration and LWMC should constantly monitor the cleanliness operations to further improve the arrangements. I will not tolerate any indifferent to cleanliness in the city,” he added.

Meanwhile, the chief minister ordered to dispose of animals’ waste and other garbage. “The departments concerned should make every effort to keep the cities clean as no compromise will be made on cleanliness,” he stressed. “Action will be initiated in case of any complaint. Cities should be given a clean look,” he ordered.

CM APPEALS TO CITIZENS TO FOLLOW SOPS

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has appealed to the citizens to be careful as the number of patients is increasing due to the fourth coronavirus wave. In a statement, the CM maintained that the citizens could avoid the virus by following the SOPs. “Everyone should display responsible behavior as the disease is spreading,” he said. “The people should get themselves vaccinated, and they should also wear face masks to prevent the spread of the disease,” he added.
