No load shedding during Iftar, Sehar and Taraweeh in Ramadan

ISLAMABAD-Minister of State for Water and Power AbidSher Ali has stated that there would be no load shedding in the country during Iftar, Sehar and Taraweeh timings.
Addressing a press conference in Multan today, he said the government would bring power generation up to 85 per cent of the total installed capacity in the country to reduce load shedding during Ramadan.
To maintain justice, the Minister said there would be equal distribution of electricity in the country during Ramadan.
He said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is taking keen interest to overcome electricity crisis.
About installation of electricity meters at tube wells, AbidSher Ali said that he had instructed officials to install meters at the earliest.
He maintained the government was also providing tractors on subsidized rates and offering insurance policy on crops to improve farmers’ economic condition.
