ISLAMABAD - Dr Farooq Sattar, Deputy Convener MQM Rabita Committee and Minister for Overseas Pakistanis, called on Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf at the PM’s House on Friday afternoon and discussed the overall political situation of the country.

The Prime Minister said that anti-state and extremist elements would not be allowed to disturb peace in the country. The nefarious designs of the anti state elements to fan sectarian divide would never succeed, he added.

The Prime Minister urged all political parties to cooperate with the federal and provincial governments, in their efforts to maintain peace and order during Moharram.

The Deputy Convener MQM assured the Prime Minister of his party’s support and cooperation in maintenance of peace and order.
