Punjab okays Rs131m for equipment, medicines for Trauma Centre

HAFIZABAD - The Punjab government has sanctioned Rs131 million for the purchase of different medical equipment and medicines and also approved the recruitment of 103 doctors, nurses and paramedical staff for the Trauma Centre.
EDO Health Dr Farooq Azam Tarar disclosed here the other day.
He said that Trauma Centre was being constructed with a cost of Rs50 million.  The centre would be completed by June next year, he added.
BLOOD DONATION STRESSED: MNA Saira Afzal Tarar has stressed the need for blood donation particularly during this holy month to save the lives of hapless injured.
She expressed these view while inaugurating special blood donation camp organized by Sabri Welfare Association at the DHQ Hospital here the other day.
She lauded the services of Muhammad Jameel Sabri for this noble cause to serve the ailing humanity. More than 14 citizens donated blood on the first day of the camp.
