Stealers sweep Johar Town house


LAHORE – Dacoits barged into a house located in Johar Town area and looted cash, gold ornaments, and other valuables worth Rs2.5 million, police sources said on Friday.
Five dacoits equipped with automatic weapons stormed into the house of Muhammad Yasir in (G-Block) in the precincts of Johar Town police.
The victim family told the police that the robbers also assaulted women and children as they tried to raise an alarm during the house robbery. The bandits held up the family members at gunpoint and fled away after collecting cash, gold ornaments, and other valuables worth Rs2.5 million. The police are investigating with no arrest made so far.
Transferred: On the orders of Inspector General of Police Punjab Mohammad Habib-ur-Rehman SP Traffic Sheikhupura Region, Mansoor Naji, has been transferred and posted as SP (Security-II) Security Division. Mrs. Rehana Kausar, Deputy Director Elite Police Force Punjab has also been transferred as posted as SP Traffic, Sheikhupura Region, said a notification issued on Friday.
