LAHORE – Suzuki Masters Motors Engineers thrashed Galactico by 52 runs in a warm-up match of Corporate Prmiere League (CPL) here at Model Town Whites ground.
Master Motors, batting first, scored 203 runs for the loss of four wickets in 25 overs. Mian Umar Tanveer scored 51 runs, Uzair 31 and Majid Mushtaq 27.
Saad and Waqas took two wickets each. In reply, Galactico were all out on 149 runs. Fawad made 21 runs.
Zeeshan took two wickets and Mian Umar Tanveer got one.
Suzuki Master Motors Engineers team manager Waqas Sehgal lauded the team’s performance and hoped that the team would play well in the tournament and try its beat to win the event.
