Heavy and scattered rains in different parts of Lahore broke the heat wave on Thursday.

However, the rainwater has also gathered on the streets and major roads.

On the other hand, the dry weather is likely to prevail in most plain parts of the country during the next twelve hours.

Rain with wind and thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Islamabad, Upper Punjab, Upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.

Islamabad twenty-two degree centigrade, Murree fifteen, Lahore twenty-four, Karachi twenty-seven, Peshawar twenty-six, Quetta twelve, Gilgit fourteen and Muzaffarabad twenty degree centigrade.

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy weather with chances of rain, wind and thundershower is expected in Srinagar, Jammu, Anantnag, Baramulla, Leh, Pulwama and Shopian.
