ISLAMABAD An aggrieved taxi driver committed suicide by firing bullet into his head, here in G-10/2. Sources informed that Farman Ali, resident of house No.294, street No.15, sector G-11/2 had dispute with her wife, resident of sector G-10/2. His wife left his house because of certain differences. On Sunday Farman came to her house and opened fire on her. As a miracle, she remained safe. After that Farman fired the bullet into his head through the pistol and died on spot. Family of hir wife informed police, police recovered his dead body and shifted it to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for post mortem. When contacted ASP Faisal Rashid confirmed the incident and told that Farman was taxi driver and was involved in torturing his wife. His wife had miscarriage due to torture by Farman. Thats why she had left his house. He committed suicide at the house of his wife. Police has taken the pistol in its custody and crime scene has been recorded. Farman was permanent resident of Fateh Jang. After having post-mortem report police will register case under PPC 174 offence, he added.
