Certificate award ceremony at LITE

LAHORE - A certificate award ceremony of 20th batch of Lahore Institute of Technical Education (LITE) was held on Wednesday.
LITE Executive Director Brigadier Ziaur Rehman was the chief guest. He awarded certificates to more than 215 students on successful completion of their respective courses.
Speaking on the occasion, Brigadier Zia said that opening new vistas of opportunity for unemployed youth was not only a noble cause but a national obligation. He said that Pakistan Army was largely contributing towards human resource development in the country by establishing vocational institutes like LITE, in provincial capitals of the country.
Brigadier Zia said that more than five thousand students belonging to all provinces of the country including Fata, Kashmir and Northern Areas had earned their diplomas from LITE in various disciplines during the last six years and were earning a respectable livelihood. He said that Lahore Corps was providing free accommodation, uniform and messing facilities to the trainee students belonging to remote areas of the country.
