LAHORE - Lahore High Court Registrar Office Wednesday raised an objection on a petition requesting arrests of all the accused nominated in second FIR registered by Idara Minhajul Quran over Model Town killings.
The Registrar office denied fixation of the petition asking the lawyer to affix necessary documents with the file including a copy of the FIR.
Advocate Ishtiaq Chaudhary of Pakistan Awami Tehreek filed the petition and submitted that police was not taking the accused into custody. He said that all the accused were holding high posts and using their powers and influence to escape the arrests.
He asked the court to order the police to arrest the suspects like in any other criminal case and hold fair investigation.
