The Pakistan United Christian Movement president said that the Pakistani nation was united against terrorism.

Observing the first anniversary of the Peshawar Church attack, A David said that all the Pakistanis were united in the war against terrorism and supporting, promoting and building peace in the country.

The PUCM is the prime representative body of Christian community. Speaking at a special remembrance service followed by a candlelight vigil, David stressed for a collective effort promote the soft image of Pakistan globally through a peaceful and harmonized co-existence at home. Expressing solidarity with families of the victims, he said that though wounds have healed however the scars remain and remind us of the tragic incident even. He further said, “We also salute our officers and jawans who have laid their lives in protecting the geographic and ideological borders of our motherland.”
