Visa firm proprietor’s Interpol alert issued

LAHORE - The Federal Investigation Agency through Interpol has got ‘RALON Alerts’ issued of Asim Mailk, proprietor of a visa consultancy firm involved in looting Rs4 billion from innocent people, said a senior FIA officer on Wednesday.
It merits mentioning here that after the issuance of RALON Alerts of Asim, no airline of the world would be authorised to let him board for any destination, said the FIA investigator.
Apart from RALON alerts, he said that Red Warrants of the accused have also been issued and his passport has been cancelled.
The FIA through the Interior Ministry has also written a letter to National Crime Agency (NCA) of the UK to treat Asim as accused. The FIA officer said that Pakistan Embassy in the UK would pursue the letter and hopefully NCA could arrest Asim.
The Special Judge Central has issued orders to auction the property of Asim in Pakistan and deposit the earned money in national exchequer. After which, the FIA has attached Asim’s 300 kanal agriculture land in Bhera district Sargodha under section 88 CRPc. About the house of Asim in Judicial Colony Lahore, the court has sought comments from the secretary Judicial Colony for further action.
After being pushed hard by the Lahore High Court (LHC), the Federal Investigation Agency has lodged more than 190 cases of fraud against influential Blue Passport-holder Asim. It is also worth-mentioning here that the accused had been enjoying the backing of a highly-placed figure of the federal capital during the previous government.
“We have registered almost190 cases against Asim Malik, who is the chief executive of the Future Concern Associates.
The mega scam involves around Rs4 billion the company owner collected from private individuals to get them residency, immigration or other permits to settle abroad.
Asim Malik, who is also the central character of Punjab Law Minister Rana Mashhood’s video scandal, told a private TV channel that he would shoot himself if a single video in his possession proves fake one. He said he believed that the cause of all his problems was his wife’s refusal to join the PML-N.
Due to the extent of cases against him and his absence, more and more of his customers turned against him. As a result, his offices were sealed and some of his staffers including two girls were arrested. “My assistant was tortured to death”, revealed the Future Concern owner. He lamented that all his business credibility that he built in 17 years was ruined by the political revenge.
