HAFIZABAD - The police raided an illegal factory preparing fireworks here on Kassoki bypass and arrested three persons including its owner Muhammad Uman.The raiding party seized large quantity of explosive material meant for manufacturing fireworks.

A case has been registered against Muhammad Usman, Muhammad Farooq and Saifullah.

Meanwhile, the Kaleke Police carried out a raid Lakhia village and arrested Ghulam Mustafa Mullah with 80 litres of liquor. The police have registered a case against him accordingly.

SUCCUMBED TO BURNS

Sacked police cop Muhammad Usman of Mian Da Kot who had set ablaze self ablaze few days ago, succumbed to his burns in a local hospital.

According to police source, Muhammad Usman constable who was posted at Kassoki police station was dismissed from service on the charge of negligence few months back owning to which he was faced with various issues. Upon which he ended his life by setting self on fire.
