Worst loadshedding in the offing: PPP

LAHORE - PPP’s central Punjab President Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo has predicted worst loadshedding of electricity in the days to come citing dwindling furnace oil stocks.
In a statement, he said that the major cities of the country had been facing more than 16 hours loadshedding while in rural areas people were being given feeling of living in an era of pre-recorded history.
Wattoo said that farmers were facing double jeopardy because their tube wells were lying idle affecting the irrigation of their landholdings and the good prospects of crops were almost nil.
He said that the present government was an embodiment of mismanagement, ineptness and above all lacked vision and, therefore, the people of this country were doomed and their hopes of good days had dashed during the PML-N government’s rule.
Wattoo said that Punjab Chief Minister would boast of overcoming the power outages within months while beating the heat with hand-made fan at Minar-i- Pakistan. “It is more than one- and-half year now but the crisis has assumed the horrendous proportion instead. It is the test of his sense of fairness and justice if he admits his failure in public with full-throated voice as he used to violently agitate the issue during the PPP government”, he remarked.
Wattoo observed that Shahbaz Sharif could not face the people because his duplicity had been exposed but he could conveniently mislead the people by uttering statements.
Nothing was more ironical than wasting time and energy without a clear road map, he concluded.
