Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said that the allegations regarding accused Imran Ali, who has been arrested in rape and murder of Zainab, of having links with international groups as baseless.

Rana Sana ullah further said that State Bank has launched an investigation into bank accounts of Imran Ali after senior anchorperson and journalist Dr Shahid Masood informed Supreme Court (SC) about it.

TV anchor Dr Shahid Masood had revealed details of Imran’s bank accounts in a show. Later, he furnished the details to the apex court in a suo motu case.
