President, PM laud security forces for eliminating 9 terrorists in KP operations

President Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday commended Pakistan’s security forces for eliminating nine terrorists affiliated with Indian-backed Khawarij during three intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Appreciating the efforts of the forces, the President said the operations targeting elements of Fitna al-Khawarij were a significant step in the country’s fight against terrorism. He reiterated the state's firm commitment to continue such actions until terrorism is completely eradicated from Pakistan.

“Our resolve to eliminate terrorist elements and safeguard national security remains unshakable,” President Zardari affirmed, stressing the importance of continued efforts to root out militants supported by external forces.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif also paid tribute to the armed forces for conducting successful operations in Dera Ismail Khan, Tank, and Khyber districts. He praised the professionalism of Pakistan’s military and noted that the campaign against terrorism was progressing rapidly.

The Prime Minister vowed to defeat the designs of those acting against humanity, asserting that terrorists backed by India would be held accountable for harming the lives and property of innocent citizens.

He assured the nation that both the government and security forces are united in their determination to eliminate terrorism in all its forms.
