Weak economy put country’s sovereignty, stability at stake: Fazl

Rahim Yar Khan   -  PDM chief and Ameer JUI-F Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that the country’s economy has weakened to such an extent that now the country’s sovereignty and stability is at stake.

Talking to media on Thursday in Rahim Yar Khan, Fazlur Rehman said the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has been subordinated to the IMF, which is tantamount to mortgaging the national institution to IMF.  He said that an important meeting of PDM was going to be held in Islamabad on December 6 in which key decisions regarding national politics will be taken which included opting for a long march and resigning from assemblies.

He said that all opposition parties including PPP were on the same page regarding removal of present government and the final action plan for removal of the present government will be decided in December 6 meeting. He said that he had predicted in 2010 that such a government would be imposed on the country in 2018. This will make the country economically and politically very weak.
