CDA decides to raise minimum wages of contingency employees

ISLAMABAD - The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to raise minimum salaries of its contingency, daily wages and muster roll employees to Rs 15,000 per month.

The increase will be by adoption of minimum wage limits of the government of Pakistan by the CDA. The CDA board is yet to approve the summary to this effect. The concerned wing of CDA has been directed to prepare the summary of revision of minimum salary of daily wages, muster roll and contingency employees. Around 2500 employees of the authority will benefit from the proposed move.

Meanwhile, the CDA has issued different orders regarding posting/transfer/assignment of current charge of the higher post and repatriation of an officer. Dr Sultan Muhammad, Medical Officer (BS-17) of the Capital Hospital CDA has been assigned the current charge of the post of Associate Dermatologist (BPS-18) in addition to his own duties for a period of three months in terms of Article 4.33 of the CDA Employees (Service) Regulations, 1992 with the approval of Chairman, CDA. Vide another office order, one officer of BS-18, Capt (R) Shahbaz Tahir Nadeem of Pakistan Administrative Service presently posted as Director Emergency and Disaster Management / Director Sports and Culture, CDA on deputation basis has been repatriated.

Among the officers posted / transferred are Saleem Minhas (Statistical Officer) who has been posted P&E Directorate to AO IT Directorate, Mudassir Yaqoob Butt (Audit Officer) from Capital Hospital to Complaint-I Accounts Directorate, Matloob Ahmed Bhatti (Accounts Officer) from Complaint-I Accounts Directorate to Capital hospital, Nadeem Aslam (DAO) from Sports & Culture Directorate to Planning Wing, Zubair Hussain (DAO) from CE Lab G&H Directorate to Sports & Culture Directorate.
