Women fashion design training concludes

LAHORE - TUSDEC has successfully concluded the 15 days course of fashion designing for women on September 25, 2012. The course has been conducted at TUSDEC - NIDA (National Institute of Design and Analysis) Lahore Centre where the programme has been wrapped up with a splendid display of candidates work. The course is a continuation of TUSDEC collaborative efforts with FWBL to implement the GEP sponsored by USAID. Proficient trainer Miss Bismah Sahir has been affianced by TUSDEC to apprise the batch of 23 candidates with the pragmatic and market oriented curricula. At the very instigation of the course the trainees have been awarded with tool-kits enabling them to conveniently practice the acquired avocation subsequent to the training.  According to a statement from TUSDEC CEO Anwar Ali Pervez the programme aims to foster the notion of women socioeconomic empowerment to earn sustainable economic development in the country. He said TUSDEC is rigorously supporting the TVET Sector in Pakistan as the surge of globalisation has placed a premium on skilled human resource.
