People have come to know true face of Maryam Nawaz after her audio leak.

LAHORE    -   Punjab Chief Minister Ch Parvez Elahi on Sunday hinted at the possibility of registration of fresh cases against Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and others responsible for the Model Town killing incident which took place in 2014.

“Cases will be registered against those responsible for murdering the innocent women and children in Model Town. I don’t believe in [instituting] fake cases, but the cases which will now be registered will be real and based on facts”, he said while addressing 41st death anniversary of Ch Zahoor Elahi at the Zahoor Elahi Palace in Gujrat.

The chief minister said that the biggest fear to Rana Sanaullah had been the Model Town incident. “If Allah wills it, he will be punished for getting murdered the innocent people in Model Town”, he added.

It may be recalled here that around 14 people including women and children had lost their lives because of a violent clash which took place between the Punjab Police and Pakistan Awami Tehreek activists on 17 June 2014. The case has been pending for a decision in the court since then. Parvez Elahi challenged Rana Sanaullah to show courage and come out of Islamabad when Imran Khan gave a call [for the long march].

Taking a dig at the Sharif family, Parvez Elahi said that people had now come to know true face of Maryam Nawaz Sharif after her audio leak though he already knew about her. He stated that the words which Maryam Nawaz used about him were regrettable.

“I did a lot of good deeds to this family and I always helped them. Maryam Nawaz by speaking against me showed her real face; and this was the reason why me and Moonis Elahi sided with Imran Khan”, he remarked, adding that thinking of Maryam Nawaz was reflective of the Sharif family’s mindset.

Talking about Shehbaz Sharif, he said Shehbaz Sharif had no fear of Allah Almighty. “When goes abroad, he would say he didn’t have to ask for money, but he had to do this under compulsion; please give money. I am afraid that he might someday ask for his return ticket from them. The thinking of Shehbaz Sharif is like that of Mughal emperors”, he observed.

Speaking about the court cases against Mian Nawaz Sharif, he said that cases had not finished yet and he will not return. “Not a single case against Nawaz Sharif has come to an end. Now, neither anyone can return nor leave, and Nawaz Sharif will not return,” the CM stated.

He also said the family of late Ch Zahoor Elahi will hopefully get united again.
