2 soldiers martyred in exchange of fire with terrorists in SW

RAWALPINDI  -  Terrorists fired upon Pakistan security forces in Sararogha, South Waziristan district which was promptly responded by the security forces, said the ISPR media directorate here yesterday.

It said that during the intense exchange of fire, two Pak soldiers, having fought gallantly, embraced Shahadat. The martyred personnel include Lance Naik Umar Ali Khan (age 26 years, resident of Bannu) and Sepoy Muhammad Siraj ud Din (age 23 years, resident of DI Khan).

According to the statement, the area clearance is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.  The Pakistan Army is determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
