ATTOCK - State Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmad has asked PTI Chief Imran Khan to tender unconditional apology before the whole nation. He said this while talking to newsmen here at his residence on Sunday. He said that Judicial Commission report has proved that the govt of PML (N) was enjoying true mandate and the allegations levelled by Imran Khan were baseless and frivolous. He said that 126 days-long sit-in by PTI damaged the economy and created hurdles in development of the country.
The state minister said that PTI chief misled the people through a conspiracy and also brought a bad name for the country. He said that for all this Imran Khan needed to tender apology before the nation. He said that prime minister for the first time in the history of Pakistan made it clear that he would tender his resignation if the judicial commission proves rigging.
He said that sincere leader take decisions in the best interest of the nation. He said that after the report of judicial commission, now Imran Khan has no reason to raise more questions on this issue. He said that because of the sit-ins of Imran Khan, the visit of Chinese president was also cancelled, which was a great setback for Pakistan. State minister said that judicial commission, which was headed by the judges of Supreme Court, completed all legal formalities.
The state minister also criticised Tahir ul Qadri and said that Tahir ul Qadri was a Canadian and therefore could not be loyal to Pakistan.
