After arriving for the white-ball series in England, the Pakistani cricket team has tested negative for COVID-19.
According to reports, the team reached Derby on Friday and were tested upon arrival. The Pakistani squad members will resume training on Monday, subject to their second coronavirus tests showing a negative result for the second time.
Officials have reported that the players and the support staff is currently in quarantine as per rules and regulations.
The second test will be taken on Sunday i.e. today in Derby.
Also, once the team is done with their isolation period, the players will play two practice intra-squad matches at Derby. After those sessions, the team will move to Cardiff on July 6 for the first ODI scheduled to be played between the two sides on July 8.
