ISLAMABAD   -    The country on Tuesday reported less than 10 fatalities from corona virus in a single day for the second consecutive day.  According to the latest data released by National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), the country reported as many 572 fresh cases of Covid-19 and six people lost their lives due to the virus in the last 24 hours. The overall positivity rate remained at 1.35 percent while 42,096 tests were conducted during the last 24 hours.  A day earlier, Pakistan recorded the lowest daily Covid-19 death count of this year after nine people lost their lives to the virus over a period of 24 hours.  The reports have been indicating corona virus positivity rate of less than 2 percent for the 11th consecutive day.  Last week, active cases of the virus in Pakistan dropped below the 25,000 mark after more than seven months, while daily corona virus infections fell to their lowest level in a year.  Pakistan has administered at least 101,470,254 doses of Covid vaccines so far while as many 728,492 jabs of vaccine were administered to the people on October 25.
