Several AK-47 assault rifles have been discovered on the Punjab University campus. A cache of loaded AK-47s had been found in PU earlier also which, by the way, contained several hand-grenades besides. University authorities speculate that given the increased security measures, miscreants may have thrown away these weapons to avoid detection and arrest. This is a shocking state of affairs. How can such dangerous weapons be allowed on a university campus? It is not difficult to guess which organisation would have a link to these weapons.
