Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has sent a message of greetings to the President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai on the Revolution Day falling on April 28. In his message, the Prime Minister said, It gives me great pleasure to extend on behalf of the people and Government of Pakistan and on my own behalf our most cordial felicitations on the Revolution Day of Afghanistan.Pakistan attaches great importance to ties of friendship and amity that exist between our two countries and peoples. We are keen to strengthen this bond of fraternity through cooperation in diverse fields, he added. The Prime Minister said his recent visit to Kabul gave them an opportunity for useful interaction to promote mutual harmony, adding, there is a need by the two sides now to implement the various decisions arrived at. I pray for your good health as well as for the continued well-being of the brotherly people of Afghanistan, he added.
