RAWALPINDI -The body of a missing child found from a deep well located at a house where the deceased used to go for tuition along with siblings, informed a police spokesman on Wednesday.
A police team, headed by SP Potohar Division Rana Abdul Wahab, and forensic experts visited the site and collected evidences.
Rescue 1122 moved the body of the deceased to DHQ Hospital Raja Bazaar for autopsy where he had been identified as Azan, he said. Earlier, the police have registered a kidnapping case of child against unknown abductors with Police Station Wah Cantt on complaint of father of the missing child.
“Police have moved the body of child to hospital for post-mortem,” said SP Rana Abdul Wahab. He added police are investigating the matter from all angles and would resolve the case soon.
