Police bust gangs of outlaws involved in house robberies

HYDERABAD - The Hyderabad police claimed to have busted two gangs of outlaws involved in house robberies and cash snatching outside the banks and having recovered Rs5 million looted amount. Addressing a press conference at the police headquarters here on Wednesday   SP Anil Haider Minhas informed that after several incidents of robberies which occurred in Hyderabad and Jamshoro districts, the SSP Hyderabadt asked SHO Hussainabad Naek Muhammad Khoso with arresting the criminals. He added that Khoso’s investigation traced a gang of robbers who were involved in the house robberies in Hyderabad and Jamshoro. Subsequently, the SHO arrested three robbers identified as Latif Panhwar, Abdullah Gadahi and Abbass Lakher alias Buddo. Panhwar is said to be head of the gang. Police have so far linked them with three separate house robberies which they allegedly carried out on January 25 in Jamshoro, February 10 in Kotri SITE area and March 12 in Hussainabad. According to the SP, the SHO Khoso also traced another gang which was looting the citizens outside the banks and arrested Lal Dino Odh who disclosed identities of his other gang members who were still at large. The SP apprised the police were conducting raids in different cities of Sindh to arrest other members of his group.
