LAHORE - Earthquake of moderate intensity was felt in various cities of Punjab including Lahore yesterday.
No loss of life or property was reported from anywhere.
Jolts were felt in Lahore and adjacent cities at noon, causing panic stricken to come of offices and homes while reciting verses from the Holy Quran.
In early hours, earthquake jolted Islamabad, Peshawar and adjoining areas.
The intensity of quake was recorded 5.2 on the Richter Scale and its epicenter was at more than 300 kilometre depth in Hindu Kush Range in Afghanistan.
