BUREWALA - The federal government will necessitate annual budgetary grants for district and tehsil bar associations across the country; Federal Secretary for Law Pir Masood Ahmad Chishtti said on Sunday night. Addressing a reception at the Burewala Bar Association, he said that legislation process will be accomplished during the current session of the National Assembly in this regard. He said that funds for small bar associations are being provided without discrimination. He urged lawyers to utilise these grants for the betterment of their community in transparent way. He said that the Federal Ministry have given Rs 5 million grant to Burewala, Rs 2 million to Vehari and Rs 1 million to Mailsi bar associations. MPA Malik Nosher Khan Langrial, Chiramn Executive Committee Punjab Bar Council Rana Arif Kamal, Member Punjab Bar Council Rana Asif Saeed, Zahid Khan Kihichi, Asif Khan Baloch, Judicial Member Income Tax Wapda Federal Court Muhammad Javed Shaheen, members of local judiciary, civil administration and members bar association attended the reception.
