I am writing this letter to express my resentment against the government's decision to grant licenses to the industrial units to manufacture low-priced two-wheelers. As we all know that our national Capital has already earned its name as the most polluted city of the world, as the smoke emitted by the vehicles creates a sheet of toxic gas which remains in the atmosphere for a long time. The so-called low-priced scooters will release even more poisonous smoke in the environment. The day is not far when we will all have to wear oxygen masks to avoid inhaling poisonous gases. The rising pollution level has given rise to many diseases, such as asthma, bronchitis, lung infection etc. It is the duty of the government to ensure free air to its citizens. Therefore, I appeal to the government to reconsider its decision in the grant of licenses to manufacture the two wheelers.
