ISLAMABAD - The federal government on Thursday removed Afzal Latif as Secretary Establishment and posted him as Secretary Human Rights Division and appointed Inamullah Khan Dharejo as new Secretary Establishment.
A BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service Afzal Latif earlier served as provincial Secretary in KP government while he also served as Chairman Capital Development Authority.
However, he was removed as Chairman CDA when he refused to regularise the unauthorised developments in Bani Gala and a private venture situated on Constitution Avenue.
Meanwhile Inamullah Khan Dharejo, a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, presently posted as Secretary, Human Rights Division, is posted as new secretary of Establishment Division.
On the other side, Zahid Akhtar Zaman, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, who was posted as Additional Secretary in Cabinet Division is transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of government of the Punjab.
Meanwhile, Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, presently posted as Additional Secretary in the Federal Education and Professional Training Division is posted as Chief Secretary, Government of Gilgit-Baltistan.
The vacancy on the top bureaucratic slot at Gilgit-Baltistan was occurred because its previous incumbent was transferred and posted as Secretary Energy Division just a day ago.
