KARACHI - Three people were killed in separate incidents here on Tuesday. A bank official was shot dead near Siemens Chowrangi within the jurisdictions of Site-A Section police station.

The victim was identified as Khurram, 38. Police officials said he was working in a private bank as a branch manager. At the time of the incident, he was travelling in his car when armed motorcyclists shot him multiple times. He was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where he succumbed to injuries. Police officials said the victim was the resident of Dhoraji Society. The motive behind the incident has yet to be ascertained. Separately, Iqbal, 55, was shot dead when armed men opened fire on his car at Siddiq Wahab Road within the jurisdictions of Napier police station. SHO Azam Khan said the victim belonged to Aga Khani community and was the resident of Garden area. He also used to run his private school. He said the incident took place when the victim was on his way to home. He was taken to Civil Hospital where he breathed his last. The motive behind the incident has yet to be ascertained. Gul Rehman, 42, was shot dead in Qaimkhani Colony. Police officials said the victim was a security guard by profession.

He was going somewhere when unidentified armed persons shot him dead over unexplained reasons.
