LAHORE Dalbir Kaur, sister of Sarabjit Singh has clarified that she, while addressing a press conference along with her lawyer Awais Sheikh at Lahore Press Club on August 2, had not stated that the govts of Pakistan and India should release Ajmal Qasab and Sarabjit Singh. While responding to a question, she stated that the case of Sarabjit Singh could not be compared with that of Ajmal Qasab. She added that Sarabjit case is of mistaken identity. She requested both the govts to release all those prisoners who have completed their term of imprisonment. Her lawyer said that Sarabjits release would help promote peace and build confidence between India and Pakistan.
