Selection Board’s meeting likely in mid April 

ISLAMABAD - The Establishment Division has started preparations for High Powered Selection Board (HPSB) meeting as different sections have finalised panels of Grade-21 of different services groups.

According to the sources, the board meeting is likely to be held in mid of April under the chair of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Different sections of the Establishment Division had completed lists of Grade-21 officers of different services groups. Secretary Establishment would present these panels in high powered selection board meeting to review the performance of the officers. The sources said that Secretary Cabinet Division, Secretary to PM and Special Assistant to PM Shahzad Arbab would also attend the meeting. 

They appreciated the government for arranging two board’s meeting as per rules in a year. They said the previous government had arranged only five to six meetings of HPSB in five years tenure.

In October last, PM had approved promotions of 13 officers of different services groups in Grade-22. According to the services rules, the meeting of HPSB should be held after every six months.
