Youm-e-Takbeer marked with zeal

ARIFWALA/ KAMOKE / SARGODHA - It was the sagacity and gallantry of PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif who refused to yield to severe international pressure and monetary lure and made Pakistan the first atomic power of the Islamic world. Today, the country’s defence is impregnable and nobody can dare cast evil eye on it.
PML-N Pakpattan District President Imtiaz Ali Khan expressed the views while addressing a function held to celebrate Youm-e-Takbeer here in Arifwala on Monday.
As per detail, The PML-N arranged the programme at Jinnah Chowk which was attended by a large number of workers, office-bearers of the Youth Wing and people from all walks of life.
Party’s Sahiwal division Youth Wing General Secretary Pir Ilyas Shah, Youth Wing Arifwala Tehsil Sabir Khan and City Nasir Qureshi, Punjab Auqaf Department Coordinator Habib Ullah Bhatti and PML-N Central executive Committee member Abrar Sheikh were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Imtiaz Ali claimed that it was Nawaz Sharif who, unlike the incumbent corrupt rulers, preferred national interest by conducting nuclear tests and rejected the US president offer for money. Later, they cut a cake and distributed sweets and cake distributed among workers.
SARGODHA: The Pakistan Muslim League -N District Youth Wing took out a rally to celebrate ‘Youm-e-Takbeer’ here on Monday.
PML-N Youth Wing District Organizer Malik Muhammad Asad Akram led the rally. A great number of motorcyclists and motorists took part in the Youm-e-Takbeer rally. They held banners and placards and were chanting slogans. The rally commenced form New Satellite Town, concluded at Shaheen Chowk after marching through various roads of the city including University Road.
Addressing the participants, Malik Asad said that PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif had made the country invincible by carrying out nuclear tests despite international pressure on May 28, 1998.
He paid tribute to the gallant steps of the PML-N qauid and said that by virtue of the bold steps Pakistan emerged as the first nuclear power of the Islamic world
KAMOKE: Renewing the pledge to thwart conspiracies of anti-Pakistan and anti-Islam elements, citizens, political activists and civil society organisations celebrated Youm-e-Takbeer with national zeal and enthusiasm as a number of functions were held here to mark the occasion on Monday.
The major Youm-e-Takbeer ceremony was organised by PML-N City Youth Wing.
Addressing the participants, PML-N local leader Rana Nasir Ahmad Khan said that the nation would have to get united at one platform to foil the vicious designs of the enemies of Islam and Pakistan. He said that the anarchists were backed by imperialist powers, who wanted to present a distorted face of Islam before the world.
He paid rich tributes to PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif for making the country a nuclear power and said that at that time, the international community had tried to persuade him to discontinue the programme, but he refused to bow down.
He said that the PML-N had saved the county in 1998 from becoming an isolated state while the incumbent government had failed to do, he added.
