ISLAMABAD: The security forces have averted a 'terrorist attempt' by arresting two suspected militants in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the army said Sunday.

The arrests were made during two intelligence-based operations in the villages of Karebai Oghi and Charangada near Mansehra, the ISPR said. A 20 kilogram pressure cooker Improvised Explosive Device, hand grenades, pistols, an AK-47 rifle and rockets were recovered from the suspects, ISPR said
