LAHORE Terming deceased student nurse Asma Kanwal martyr, Postgraduate Medical Institute and Lahore General Hospital Principal Prof Tariq Salah-ud-Din has demanded the government to award her Tamgha-e-Shujaat for fighting for national cause to curb dengue. At a condolence reference held here at LGH, Prof Tariq paid rich tributes to the deceased student nurse and also stressed the Punjab government to ensure financial assistance for the bereaved family. LGH MS Dr Zafar Akram, senior professors, Principal Nursing School, nursing administration and a large number of nursing students attended the reference.
