Balochistan crisis may go out of control: Magsi

QUETTA - Governor Baloch-istan Nawab Zulfiqar Magsi has warned that if effective remedial measures were not taken, the situation would go out of control in the province. Talking to the media on the occasion of ground-breaking ceremony of Squash Complex at Ayub Stadium, the Governor said he could not say anything about the involvement of foreign hands in Balochistan crisis. He said, Balochistan crisis was not tribal problem, therefore, tribal elders could not do anything for the situation improvement. Governor stressed that it was responsibility of govt to hammer out a solution of the problem so that people could live with peace in Balochistan. Expressing his serious concern over the law and order situation in the province, he said that 'this is deteriorating. According to him, the people who are at the helm of affairs in Islamabad dont listen to anybody including me and the hue and cry of people of Balochistan in this regard is justified. He said this was high time for taking remedial measures for correcting the situation ,otherwise, it would go out of control. He condemned the incidents of target killings in Balochistan and said this was totally against the Baloch traditions. 'Eviction of settlers from Balochistan is not in the interest of province and Baloch people and this would cause irreparable loss to the province , he said ,adding, that a number of doctors and professors had left Balochistan while others were preparing to leave.
