ISLAMABAD – The Islamabad police have arrested 16 outlaws and recovered 1550-liter diesel, weapons and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Wednesday.
According to a press note issued from the office of SSP Islamabad, a police team acting on a tip-off regarding illegal sale of diesel at Kahuta Road and Sihala Bagha, raided the described place and arrested four persons for their alleged involvement in this illegal practice. They were identified as Aamir Shehzad, Muhammad Musa, Mudassar Hussain, Hashim Ali and police also recovered 1550-liter diesel from their possession.
Another Sihala police team conducted a search operation in the areas of Rawat, Banghrel, Dhawak Awan and arrested 10 suspects from whom investigation is underway.
Meanwhile, another accused Mursaleen was arrested for having 30 bore pistol while Inspector Mubarak Ali from Investigation Wing recovered 30 bore pistol from an accused Khuram Shehzad who is allegedly involved in a murder case.
Bhara Kau police also arrested seven thieves and recovered stolen items from their possession. They have been identified as Matloob, Sheeraz, Ghulam Hussain, Mehmud Khan, Ikhlaq Shah, Muzamil Hussain, Shehbaz Hussain.
Similarly, the Industrial area police arrested an accused, Aqeel, for carrying a 12 bore gun in addition to arrest of two thieves identified as Raiz and Faisal besides recovering stolen items from them.
